my windows admin class is freeeezing...again.
kimmy's doc doc said she's about 2 weeks away from giving birth. o boy o boy o boy.
so excited.
new tat is doin well. startin to scab over n itch like fire. i put a whole heap of lotion on it a minute ago. aaaaah. relief.
so i appear to be getting skinnier. huzzah! angie stopped me in the hall at work yesterday and was like 'why are you so skinny? you make me feel bad.' lol. so even though weight is around the same, im toning up and burning the fat. huzzah!
hmm...what else shall i write about......
work still sucks. soooo much drama...as always. been working on the dayshift a little bit because of classes...i could very well do without it...but i should have a little over 40 hours on this week's paycheck, even though i left about 4 or 5 hours early friday night to go get tatted. w00t. the only thing that saved my butt was the insurance meeting monday and yesterday when i went back and worked afer my class.
got my nails done short this time in anticipation of the baby...still square, but rounded off edges...definitely need a new set next time i go.
other than that, not too much else goin on...at least that i can think of.

fuck myspace and fuck their IM. im pretty sure it's the reason i have fucking spyware on my comp. im pissed. spysweeper already found somethin n i've been clear for MONTHS! grrrrrrr. in other news, got a new tat. it's shown above. it's on my right leg, on the side, about 3 or 4 inches below my knee. very awesome...will show a pic from further out later. k, ima go be pissed about my comp some more.

life is a cabaret...

i just watched "cabaret" for the first time ever. pretty good...but it's one of those movies that made me kinda sit here for a minute like "heh......life kinda blows..." it's scary when you see portions of your life portrayed in older movies you've never seen before...you know what i mean? either way tho, it was well made with great music...and i love the way they shot it, with the cabaret scenes coinciding with the events in the character's lives, further proof that "life is a cabaret." (did u see what i did there? lawlz.)
in other news, me n nadine worked out after our classes. im so happy that im losing weight...it seems each day another pound has dropped, lately. =) so with about 8 down, that's just another........92 to go. =o maybe i'll be bikini-approved by this summer. =p
so, yea...i don't know what else to say...more stuff goin on, but nothin i feel like typing out atm. gonna go chat with guildies on WoW i spose.

new meaning of frozen computer...

so i just got to my windows admin class and it is freeeeeezing in here. dear lord.
...i didn't tan today, and that makes me sad. instead i went to fairhope to see my parents n lil sis before i headed to bay minette. im considering going out to my car and grabbing my second jacket b/c the thermostat in here must be set to 52...wtf!? it's at 78! it must be a typo. -.-
well, im gonna fart around and do w/e til class starts.

we had random drug testing at work yesterday...well, random as in, every single employee was randomly selected to do one. lol. i passed mine with flying colors. =) but, mine was wonky...i had to use the men's room b/c someone was in the women's doin their's...and then larry, head honcho of security, came in and read mine. he was jokin the whole time, but i was like, "o gee, this old man is so holdin a cup of my pee." it was pretty funny tho. i got some overtime at work yesterday too. went back after class and had to do tuesday reports b/c noone was there to do them...i got about a third done. and i had a snowbird who had been misinformed not once earlier that day, but twice...that opened up a whole can of worms and becky was supposed to call her today to maybe work with her on some things...or at least further try to convince her of our true policies.
me n nadine worked out for an hour n a half last night...it was really good. we were sposeta work out some more today before our classes, but i can't get a hold of her.

im gonna stop at planet beach in foley n tan before i go to class...haven't tanned in about a week...and im getting pale so boo.
tonight i have windows admin class. w00t. im also gonna try to get some of my books today too. windows admin is $180, networking security is $90, and psychology is $70....all of those are rough figures, of course.
so...im gonna go waste some more time...maybe i'll go play in the rain that has been pouring since i fell asleep last night.

im getting excited and nervous and worried and tired and full of energy and everything else! kimmy is gonna pop out my godson sometime soon.
she went into nesting mode a couple days ago.
i can't wait til i get that call...

if it weren't for her, i can't imagine where i'd be today.
more recently, she's taught what caring so much for someone else is like.
i cannot wait til this little bundle of joy arrives...but i've been so worried for kimmy n the baby this whole time. i watch too many medical shows.
hopefully little jathen will be the healthiest baby the hospital's ever seen.
that's all i could ever ask for.

so....im definitely lovin "the big bang theory" on cbs. that mug needs to come out on dvd asap.

more about me

my name is aimee. i live in gulf shores, al. i have a cat named babyhead. she is the love of my life. (that's her peepin through the o so pimp vertical blinds one night.) she is currently laying in my lap. it makes me so happy to be loved.

i attend faulkner state community college. i am majoring in computer technology, with a focus on becoming an operations specialist. i am currently taking psychology, windows admin, and networking technology (pretty much hacking 101).

i work at brett/robinson vacation rentals. my job title is "reservationist," but many times i get pulled from the phone to assist the front desk and help my fellow reservationists with assorted projects. i work with a phone and a computer all day. it's tedious and repetitive usually, but you get the occasional interesting call. currently, our "snowbirds" (older guests who come down from up north to escape harsh winters) are rebooking their condominiums for the 2008-2009 season. many come to the front desk at the building i work at on hwy 59. yesterday, i went up front and rebooked 2 snowbirds face-to-face. it breaks the monotony a little bit.

i am currently seeking an apartment and a roommate. if you like cats and wouldn't mind a roommate who is a night owl, let me know.

aside from school and work, i enjoy having fun. (yea, i so couldn't think of an eloquent way to phrase that...10 hour workday today.) im 20 years old, born and raised in alabama, not a hardcore hick. music is my life. i listen to everything under the sun. if you've seen "bastards of young," you know what my favorite style of music is. my absolute favorite band is fall out boy. not only are the songs amazing instrumentally, the lyrics blow me away every time i listen to them...and i started listening to them in 2004. since i began listening to fall out boy, my writing style has improved dramatically. yes, i write songs. i also enjoy writing poems, short stories, and even term papers. i have a wild love affair going with the english language.

that's a pretty good summation of me. and now, a sampling of my writings....just a little something that i like to think describes me. enjoy!

id rather be remembered for the ink i put to paper than the things i did to save the world. but that's just me, the quiet kid just outside the middle of the room. i want to be seen, but not too much.
